It's making my head spin, what's wrong with 6 egg scrambled egg on heavily buttered toast with lashings of Heinz tomato sauce?

I was introduced to the delights of Hendersons Relish* a few years ago, and it is not my liquid condiment of choice!!

* By a Sheffield biker I rode with several times... He even had a bottle with him on camping trips!!

May I present my latest f*ck up for your consideration.
With lambing basically finished and the farm finally starting to dry out and look presentable again, I naively left the premises for the first time in weeks for a pint or two to celebrate. Once home, I decided to just look in on the shed. My mistake was to keep my good clothes on, and thus tempt the gods of the giant f*ck up. A drinker valve had failed and was busily flooding the shed. As a nice little aside, whilst fixing that the lambs knocked over my box of valves and seals into the sodden sh1t, which was gratefully received. Once that was sorted I notice that the water pressure was bad. I subsequently discovered that some malfunction has allowed the well pump to run itself dry and is now a crispy black mess.
It ended up being an expensive couple of pints. The question of how expensive will have to wait until the investigation tomorrow.

I am a big enthusiast for a large omlette. Several eggs, depending on size, whisked with a drop of milk and seasoning. Melt a small dab of butter in a good pan. Pour egg mix in then sprinkle large amount of cheese, sweetcorn, cooked frozen peas, spam or cooked ham... Pretty well anything. Serve with B&B for carbs or as a treat some chips. I always freeze any uneaten chip shop chips, reheat them in a hot oven for 6-7 mins (even better in an air fryer!!)

I really love a Spanish omlette/tortilla, with chorizo, red peppers and cubed potato. Great hot or cold.
I don’t mind an omelette, but i keep it simple, like me 😂
Couple of eggs two rashers of bacon sliced new potatoes if left over lots of cheese, and that’s it
Mrs adds onions, mushrooms ( devils snot) etc

It always amazes me how fascinated the general public are with things that we all really take for granted (let's face it, most of us are sick of the sight of ewes lambing by this stage of the proceedings 🙄).

Days like you've just had do no end of good.

Whenever we've been involved with anything like that and many of them come and say thank you, I always remind them that the best way they can thank us is to put a few lamb chops or some mince in their shopping basket next week, 'cos if nobody eats 'em, sooner or later they'll ne no lambs for them to come and look at 😏

Around 1000 visitors today. I always think it’s a good opportunity to see what we do through the eyes of others. It’s easy to underestimate how much support there is for us from the general public.
