Window sealant for John Deere 1630?

They have it stickered as a 1630 but the guy that sold it to them told me it was a 1030 I think when he checked his records when I mentioned where I got the loader from. The young lad that has it said John Deere did them in mechanical then hydraulic drive then back to mechanical again.

The only hydrostatic front wheel drive (HFWD) tractors to leave the Mannheim factory were the 2130 & 3130.. There is a parts book for MFWD fitted to 1030, 1130, 1630, 1830, 2030, & 2130. So, I guess they were all available with mechanical front wheel drive.. I've never seen a 2130 MFWD and the 1830 wasn't part of the UK tractor line up as far as I recall..

That is the correct 1970's 30 series style which are the most difficult to obtain, the badge with the writing is from the next 40 series which was U.K 1979 V reg >
Earlier Horseshoe bonnets had a slightly larger stepped style with a yellow, black & silver - there were a couple of variations of this also based on age, with the deer being black, yellow or silver
Its a minefield for the purists similar to the Ferguson mudguard & wheel debate
Anyway enough 70's JD nerding for now
