Thinking of changing a tractor for an Arion 420. Looking for oppinions / reviews of them. Is it powerfull enought to take a baler with a chopper (silage) on fairly hilly ground, and how would ot cope with a 2000 Gallon tanker? Any reliability issues? TIA
I've been considering how best to improve this shed.
At the moments it's just two feed rings at either end and I'm thinking about running a feed barrier down the left handside but I was wondering if it's worth having a feed pass or not.
The shed is only 22ft wide so how sensible is it to have...
What's the legal situation?
Cars are constantly overhanging into farm lane they don't listen and just say they'll move if we ask them to. You can get a car through but start with anything bigger and you can't.
One got hit yesterday so want to know where we stand.
I have just bought a low loader trailer. It's on air for suspension and brakes . I connected it up to my compressor and it all works how it should .
Unfortunately my tractors are just hydraulic not on air .
I can put a ( I think) a mini compressor on trailer to run off 12volt to pump up the...
Difficult to explain but.. our yard at home is very small , it’s a four or five point turn in the pick up and a real struggle with trailer.
There is a bit of track ( through gate behind buggy in pics) this goes to an old hard standing but at it’s narrow point is only 8’ wide and although the...

The successful establishment of a new vehicle brand is no mean feat and now that INEOS has the Grenadier name up and running, it is expanding the product range to fill further niches in its target markets.

Looking to change our pickup,we currently have a manual l200 but the gearing is quite high especially when starting on a hill with 60 spring lambs in a Gamic tri axle livestock trailer. So we are considering an Auto and I was wondering what the pros and cons are.We are looking at a Ranger,Hi Lux...
Just wondered on the state of peoples farms, personally I strongly dislike a messy farm with junk and rubbish getting in the way but not everyone feels as strongly as me it seems unfortunately. Its improving but not its not as good as I would like. How about your farm?
Spirit Levels. What’s the point of them on Farm Machinery? Have them on Manitou & Lemken machines here. Neither anywhere accurate. Somebody could have done with one when fitting it:ROFLMAO:
What other useless features have others come across on their machines?
Predicted that within 5 years new cars won't be offered with a manual gearbox.
Change driven by rise (& legislation) of EVs but also by new drivers opting to learn only on automatics.
Be a bit sad IMO as it's a pleasure & a skill to match gear changes to revs but with flappy paddles, I have...

Looking for some advice from all the knowledge here. I’m going to fit a loader to my Valtra N121. I’ve been offered Quicke loaders and can’t decide. Choices are Q40, Q46, or a new X4. Obviously the prices are different and the Q46 is self levelling, but are there any features or models to avoid...
Been looking at this wheel loader in Europe and only negative is it's lever controlled on the hydraulics. 2 levers are 3rd & 4th service. They've said they could fit a 'David Brown Hydraulics' joystick for about £600. Hopefully not the David Brown controls I'm thinking of. Low houred machine...

Fleming Agri Products Ltd. from Derry may not normally hit the headlines every five minutes with new product launches, yet that does not mean that this 160-year-old company has little to offer farming.
Indeed, quite the opposite is the case, for what...
Never owned or driven a john deere in my life. Looking at a second hand one 2018 with jd loader 3000 hrs power quad transmission 115min/l. What are these tractors like ? Are they reliable? Good on a loader? Stable on a slope?
