The Beef Tracker thread (no Sheep)

In all honesty I’m friends with some folks who are sending multiple loads a week and both of them say they are getting more favourable terms than the smaller producers get. They didn’t say they are getting 40-50p a kilo more but they are definitely getting more and that’s on the basis they turn up with cattle when they are needed

I don’t know about prices I don’t ask but I do know they don’t get pulled on some things the rest of us do but they are constantly in a discussion about what they get and how they are paid the trump card is being able to say they won’t be sending any next week that seems to put things right for them
Agreed they wouldn’t get the knocks we do.

There ain’t no abbatoir paying big feeders 40-50p more for clean cattle I’m not sure who told someone this but that’s the biggest load of bull sh1t I’ve heard in a while !!!!
Do you think there are farmers signed up to forward contracts for 530p/kg for this spring?
