What's the legal situation? Cars are constantly overhanging into farm lane they don't listen and just say they'll move if we ask them to. You can get a car through but start with anything bigger and you can't. One got hit yesterday so want to know where we stand.

    pumping water

We have taken on some adjoining grazing land that has no water. A possibility is pumping from the brook approx 80 m across our existing field to the new field. There is a slight incline - not steep as this is a brook meadow we're going across. Would a 2" petrol water pump to an IBC work ? We...

    T5.120 brake issue

Our T5.120 won't release the pressure in the trailer brake valve. If the tractor is turned off the pressure seems to go and the tractors own brakes aren't on all the time so it seems the hydraulic oil that powers the trailer brakes isn't returning to the system as it should , any ideas ?

    Best smell of the year

Someone said today that the best smell is freshly rolled cereals in the spring. My entry would be freshly spread rotten muck in the autumn or possibly freshly mown grass. Any other thoughts?

I have a load of potential new hedges I have identified and have these been approved of by the national park ecologist. I don't want to press on and find I have missed the chance to sell BNG credits on them in the future. I am struggling to find information on what value is put on new hedges...

The Woke Left Wing Civil Service and Judiciary are Destroying Britain.

Well they are aren’t they? Thwarting attempts by the democratically elected government to discourage illegal immigration. Throttling the economy with complex and highly restrictive planning processes. You can’t even divert a public footpath for health and safety reasons with any guarantee of...

Is your farm clean and tidy?

Just wondered on the state of peoples farms, personally I strongly dislike a messy farm with junk and rubbish getting in the way but not everyone feels as strongly as me it seems unfortunately. Its improving but not its not as good as I would like. How about your farm?
