Levelled up some of the ploughman’s ends between showers this morning.

And this afternoon we had kick off.

wheat harvesting in full swing . the weatherman says the rain is coming . hope to complete before that

and fire too. started by another harvester which was not maintained well. the damage was contained by farmers ploughing in front of the fire.

If so I wish someone would come and do mine, it always seems such a waste to leave full ears about especially if the crop is a bit lodged.

As Pan Mixer said . they are gleaning. Most of the them are ladies and children from the local village who do that after the harvester.
