i remember running through that field with a set of discs when it was on fire a few years ago to put some breaks in, it started down by the pub and went the whole was up to the crossroads.

1st job today, tap swap then in to a heating fault that turned out to be self inflicted by the customer, really wish some wouldn’t fiddle with stuff they don’t understand. Took nearly an hour to trace that one
Then headed home as up n down stairs 8 time stuffed the lungs and oxygen levels

Bought a newer disco to help keep the miles off the old disco 3. Was looking for a late disco 4 but this was not much difference in price. 111k miles so dropped the oil in final drives and transfer box plus new brake fluid, needs a cam belt too but that would be biting off more than a dairy farmer can chew ! So it will have to go visit my indy for that one.

Not this year, decided it was high risk just spending on seed, let alone spending another chunk on fert, but yes, have used them in the previous years

Finished fertiliser on the spring barley first thing, then spent the rest of today rolling. A decent drying day was ideal.

hopefully that’s the last lake drilled, do have another field to look at tomorrow, but I’m hoping that it’s ok
