Given that 46% Urea is the same price as 34% AN why would I apply AN to Winter and Spring Wheat in the next couple of weeks?
Which would boost grain protein more. plenty of moisture so no worries there.
250kg/ha Ammonium Nitrate - 86.25KG N/Ha
or
250kg/Ha Urea - 115KG N /ha

Paid £327 last year. Currently not significantly tempted.

Need something pretty special to tempt me to buy early again.

Advantages are with seller. We've to have it paid for and store it for 6 months. Then wait another 6 months before we get paid for crop it's grown with.

Will wait till November and get to enjoy Friday calls about them withdrawing prices tonight and it's going up on Monday!,
