Mice and rats - mainly winter, poison put down
Sparrows - all year round, put planks along the roof apex to stop insulation being pulled out
Swallows - nice to see flying in and out, but they don't half cr*p over everything
Spiders - find lots of webs when looking for tools that only get used occasionally
Squirrels - run up down the planks in the roof I put in keep the sparrows out, saw a pregnant one this morning so expecting
a lot of squirrelettes. Knock tins off shelves, insulation off pipes, make a lot of noise
Robins - make nests in nail containers after throwing the nails out first
Rabbits - hop in and out the door, have dug a warren under workshop floor
Frogs - in wet weather as there is no DPM under the floor so in heavy rain, the floor is as damp as outside
Dog - comes in to bark at me when I'm trying to do something that needs all my concentration - walkies time !
What have you got living in yours ?

That made me laugh! Especially the bit about the dog!

I have had a pair of wood pigeons (yes, not stock doves) nesting in my barn for the last few years. Then, over winter, a kestrel was roosting in the barn, especially in bad weather. I thought the kestrels had ousted the pigeons, but may have given up themselves as I haven't seen them lately. But it is a busy barn with vehicles going in and out and repairs to tractor and implements. Yes, crap everywhere. Lots of LBJs (little brown jobs) flitting in and out but I don't take much notice of them. Did have a population of sparrows but they have entirely disappeared, bird flu is suspect. Geese, which are usually plentiful, are also conspicuous by their absence. No swallows yet.

Swallows most years (tack an old, split, dumpy bag under the nest to keep the guano off anything valuable). Dog made a habit of falling asleep under the table and being shut in when he was a pup, but he's grown wiser.

Wrens come in, house sparrows nest in the eaves, often a song thrush nest in the ivy behind it. I've seen a sparrowhawk zip through, just the once. Again, just the once, I've seen the Barn Owl in there. He generally perches on the big light fitting in the mowhay next to the workshop ~ but not when it's switched on.

Swallows like The outside fisherman's loo.
So have to keep door closed so they cant nest .
They are persistent and quick if the doors left open
Nesting mud Crap up wall and over basin
Not ideal

Can’t be right. According to certain media celebs uk countryside is devoid of wildlife and farmers hate all of it..🙄

I've been asked to correct this, because the swallows nesting is a new thing. They often do swoop into the building, though.

Swallows every year which I love to see. Just put an empty fert bag under the nest as already suggested.
Wrens every where. I recently left my coat hanging on a nail for 24 hours and when I went to get it there was a nest in the pocket.
Starlings and sparrows are in there too.
I do my utmost to leave them as undisturbed as possible.
Cats, rats, foxes and badgers have all been seen in there too but aren’t welcomed .
The cat was meant to be an anti rodent measure but got fired after it snuck into a tractor cab through a left open side window and p#ssed on the seat.
