Vintage Tractor Insurance

Well after years of insuring my tractors with the NFU they have canned my policy...unbelievable! Apparently they don't offer these policies anymore and you have to have "everything" insured with them and the vintage policy becomes a tag on!! What a load of b***ocks!

So, anyone have any good vintage tractor insurers they reccomend?

Just renewed mine with them yesterday 7 vintage tractors and the lorry with them. No property or other
vehicles with them. Try another branch.

Yes, I’ve heard that about the renewals people. Rang my local branch and they’re looking into it. I may need you as an example, I also have my lorry with them!

renewal came last week , plus £13cheaper than last time (NFU)

Well, we're all insured again! The local NFU office has sorted it. Seems strange that the NFU Head Office couldn't, they just tell me that these policies aren't offered anymore and it has to be part of a larger insurance deal!

Don't think they insure implements though eg ploughs, the NFU do...

My vintage policy with the NFU does not insure impliments attached to the tractor. They have to be insured seperately. Their farm policy covers anything attached to the tractor.
