This isn't going to end well!

It's hardly typical warfare is it? They are bombing the f out of a prison camp where half the inmates are women & kids. The situational/capability difference is off the scale.
Why are they bombing that area?
Is it because hamas is there?
Reuters report today Israeli raids into camps and militants were killed and arrested.
If hamas are hiding and fighting from civilian areas, then sadly civilians will die.
Just like in all wars throughout history.

It looks as if the Israelis may undertake a retribution attack. This may lead to Iran launching more missiles and drones. The RAF was deployed in support of the US and Jordanian air force Saturday evening to defend Israel. At what point is does the UK Parliament get to debate and vote on this deployment and that that future deployment will have resulted from the Israelis retaliations. In effect is the Knesset now in charge of the RAF? At what point does Jordan take offense at its air space being used by Israeli / US / UK warplanes?

Errr, Jordan likely have radar of their own and contributed to the defence of Israel? 🤷‍♂️

You don't seem to be getting this, do you? This is not an Israel vs the rest of the middle east situation, despite your apparent desire for it to be so. Jordan has been shooting down foreign aggressor drones for many years if you care to search out the facts.

Why are British warplanes flying over Jordan? Errr, because the UK is allied with Jordan and has strong diplomatic ties with them?

Seriously, you guys need to read around the reality of the middle east a bit more and not just rely on Mr Men books.

Iran launches dozens of hostile drones with the deliberate intent of hitting Israel with zero regard for civilian life and you complain Israel smash the Iranian consulate in Syria? You guys are borderline pathological in your thinking now.

Interested to know how the Israelis identify the killing of Hamas fighters as they don't wear any uniform, I have a feeling it's classed as a Hamas fighter if male between the ages of 16 & 40 & dead regardless of whether they were actually a Hamas fighter.

Come on then Brian, how do you suppose one differentiates between a civilian/non-combatant and an enemy combatant in a warzone? You're quick to comment on these foreign conflicts and know so much, tell us what you know?

As bad as it is, we don't know how many of those were hamas fighters , how many were women and also under 18 are classed as children... so not all toddlers.
Those figures are from hamas.

Israel claims to have killed 13,000 hamas fighters.

UN say average military/civilian casualties in wars in normally 1/9 ratio.
So terrible as it seems, Israel is keeping the ratio well under the normal average in warfare.

It's a terrible thing that's happening, but war is tragic and terrible.
Fighting an enemy in a densely populated area is dangerous to your own troops and so to keep your own casualties down, you bomb and shell enemy positions, which is going to result in civilian casualties if your enemy is fighting from civilian areas.

Do you expect a war with no civilian deaths?
