Small scale chicken slats

I keep coming back to slats for my chickens, but I don't know owt about them!

Chickens are in an old Ag building, with breezeblock walls to 5 foot and Yorkshire boarding above.
The section chooks are in now is approx 15x30 foot (one bay) with scope to double this if needed.

Shed has started leaking water in this winter, through the wall, so needs some investigation and repairs, current floor is just quarry bottoms with bedding on top.

Is it worth digging out and tanking it, put slats in?

How deep would it need to be for say 100 birds over 1 year?

I'm assuming they just need a support that spans the length/width and they click together?

Rest of the building is full of crap I need to get rid of 🤣 so could be poultry only.
It's too low to use it for storing hay or straw, Thinking all poultry would make best use of it.

Thanks
