PSF (UK Branch) V PSF (ROI Branch).
That is the hypocrisy in a single party in two jurisdictions. The electorate in both jurisdictions have very different opinions on the political agenda. Hence the double speak.

The problem facing both UK and ROI regarding immigration isn't so much the volumes of people arriving but the time taken to process. This has not been fit for purpose for years. The Rawanda deal does cause a complication to an already broken system. Asylum seekers taking years to process is a waste of time and resources.

Getting a speedy decision process in place and immigration becomes less of an issue as the waiting list is much shorter and people will encounter less asylum seekers in their day to day life. The current process is only giving oxygen to people to stir others up by shouting we are getting over run. That of course is also hypocritical as we Irish have been on the otherside of this for centuries.

Fascinating.

Arlene taking a lead and making decisions, Michelle obviously just a puppet for her masters.

And I wonder if that big plate of humble pie she had to eat yesterday has left a bad taste in her mouth today.

None of it will make a pin of difference come election time though!
It’s funny how two people can read the same thing and come to completely different conclusions

Not much of a fan of either or indeed our political 'masters' in general so just took it as I found it.

That having been said, given that it was Arlene who made them public while Michelle went against legal advice and wiped them, that's pretty telling surely!

Believe me i have no love for either of them, but I did think it seemed like O’Neill was in charge.
Infairness to both of them they seem to have been able to get along fairly well, especially considering the incredibly difficult circumstances they found themselves in.
If I found anything fascinating in the texts it was how good a relationship they seemed to have had.

I don't think that's surprising, there's a lot of posturing and grandstanding put on publicly to keep us plebs on edge as much as possible.

DUP and SF ultimately prosper off the backs of each other.

If peace and harmony ever broke out and they had to stand on their political record they'd be f**ked.
