New lad for this year. Replacing an old boy who went last year aged 13 so will be very happy if he lasts anywhere as long. Sired by Maraiscote Olympus.

Have you ever had your heifers hip scored to measure the width of the pelvis farmer girl? And can you still get Lodge Hamlet bull semen?
Never measured, but would like to start.

Here probably not anymore, but have one or two straws left.

The first heifer calved here two days ago already. Had to assist as one leg was bent under. Calf sired by culard charolais, heifer is around 80% lim. Not Hamlet daughter though.

That from the young bull you bought the other year but weren't sure about @Aspiring Peasants ?
Yes, well remembered Unfortunately I had to sell him because he started sucking the cows and no spike or anything would stop him. He also was getting a bit "bolshie". He was still only 24 months old so I put him through the stores and he made £2120, nearly £500 more than I paid for him and I've got 20 cows in calf, so I'm not complaining!
