Any comments about Chipolo key fob trackers? Seem to be the only one that doesn't require a subscription to use the app.
We recently lost one of the pickup keys, it is definitely gone for good 😭. Mitsubishi want £300 for a new one 🤣

Or second question, has anyone bought a programmable blank off the internet?

TIA

I use "tiles".

Have them on various sets if keys and a card in my wallet.

Wouldn't be without them.

I have used tiles, but the batteries don't last long, so you need a pile of them at the ready to keep swapping.
Range of the tile is fairly limited.
Whenever I've needed the tile, the battery has been flat. I gave up with them.

What I would recommend is a tag with your mobile phone number on. Then if someone finds the bunch of keys, they can call you....
Simple no batteries.

Tile cost me 2hrs walking a grass-verge looking for lost keys. I eventually realised that the App was showing the location one day in August. Must have been where the battery died during harvest the previous year.
My suspicion is that lots of people realise they need batteries when they have lost their keys.

I had a look at their web site. If you are going to buy a "4 pack color mix" (red yellow green blue) of the "chipolo one" then they have two different prices on their web site for the same thing and they differ by £13. From their home page they sell for £66 (25% off) but from the Easter Sale page hidden behind the "Store" menu the same thing is £53 (40% off). You will get told this after you've purchased. If you want them all the same colour or red/blue/black/white it's the higher price only. Code CHIP10 works too for 10% off.

I queried the £13 difference and they've said they'll refund it. Mine arrived today, just about to start with them. Came with a code CTY13BA4 for 15% off next order, don;t know if it stacks with the Easter discount. The "card" one seems to work.

Setup was easy, about half an hour including a quick test. Couple of minutes to then add one of the disks. Had to reseat the battery on one of the disks - it initially disconnected but then double clicking it wouldn't work. Other than that, fine. Seems to be a "refer a friend" thing for 20% discount on those referred, 3 of which get you a free Chipolo. Not sure if you can refer yourself with the google kludge (where dots and dashes in usernames are ignored on incoming messages, allowing you to register for stuff with variations of the same account).
