CRD are primarily concerned with products impacting the environment and human health. My friend used to work for them. They were actually quite pragmatic and didn't ban things too hastily in reality. Some of these products were extremely problematic for the environment/water supplies or had very nasty effects on human health. It surprises me that PDM is still allowed- it's thought to be linked to bladder cancer because it's based on chemistry similar to aniline dyes which are definitely carcinogenic. They don't just ban this stuff for the lulz- it's for a reason. You guys are the one handling the concentrates, too, so it's you who are first in the firing line.
It's not real though is it?
Just petri dish theories, there's no actual science showing any residue level is safe or not.
There's no risk to me using pdm, ctl, epoxi etc especially compared to going to the pub and ingesting a known poison.

Trying to work out if your just trying to wind people up!? It's the second most regulated industry after medicine, do you think that's not science and just petri dish theories?

So you would lobby to say we want this chemistry that the governments health and safety dept have deemed unsafe for the environment and human health?
Not really deemed unsafe. They changed the level of risk assessment. It’s sort of like before they used a “likely“ risk to ban products whereas now they use an “unlikely risk, but it could be possible”.
The other things we should ban as likely endocrine disrupters would be tobacco, coffee & tea, alcohol etc. However as these don’t go through a regulatory approval process they are ok!

Not regulated on outcomes. There’s a long term study of sprayer operators and exposure issues. Farmers and spray operators tend to be amongst the healthiest. Even from an era when PPE wasn’t much more than roll your sleeves up!
