Bredal K85 not spreading p grow evenly

Just as Clive says, swap the vanes on the discs and change the discs to drive the other way. That’s easy if you have oil driven discs but I think you will need a different gearbox if they’re pto driven.

Also as said, you will likely need to drop the product closer to the centre of the discs for an even spread.

To be blunt though, a tray test is unlikely to be perfect or consistent. It’s a case of doing it as well as you can, which is pretty good to be honest. That’s part of the reason these products are priced well. Nobody claims they spread perfectly like a granular product.

I’m having similar trouble with a K85 at the moment, I’ve got the lime kit on and can’t get enough product behind, I’ve tried the spreader box both farward and back and various different pto speeds. The product is P+K in a form very like sand. Is the reversing the direction the only way to go?
