My Cvx 230 is my ploughing/Trio tractor and after just 2700hrs the Michelin Mach bibs are down to 20% mainly because in life before me it dragged a 21t digger around at 35psi.

Anyways 650/75 r38
Michelin £3900
Vredstein £2700
BKT £1375

Front 600/65 r38 have similar pricing.

Am I going to be disappointed going BKT?

And if I boight new rims would the old Michelins fit my 1455xl🤔👌?

The quickest wearing tyre I ever had was Michelin , they were gone on front at 2200 hrs , the best I’ve had is trelleborg . bkt at that price is great value for money .

I have a set of the same size BKTs on my TM I've had them for 11 years now and in that time they have probably done about 4000 hours (sprayer tractor so it spends so much of the year on row crops) very little road work and the tyres are like brand new
It grips like hell, can pull a 4m Vaddy system disc with no extra weight without scratting and are generally bloody good tyres IMHO

I’ve just taken a set of Continentals off a tractor and put a set of BKT’s on
I’m pleased with them only other experience I had with them was on a telehandler
The biggest noticeable difference is the lack of sidewall flex on the BKT’s
Similar size 600/65 38’s

MRL are shite, you never get the proper width as they seem to build tyres as narrow as possible for the given size, like in the shape of an egg.

I bought a replacement MRL row crop, it lasted a little over a year before the sidewall went pop. You tend to get what you pay for...

And speaking of which, are any of the OP's quoted tyres VF?
They're the kind of investment that you can't see a return on, but it's definitely worth it in improved grip and marginally reduced compaction, if you intend to keep the tyres long enough.

No they aren't VFs but as tractor only does 250hrs a year mostly heavy cultivation and haulage I am finding it hard to justify VFs as they are I think £12k for a set of Bridgestone.

I bought the BKTs last night but @Terry Elsey Tyres would that be a delivered price to Highlands? I will keep that at the back of my ind in the future

When you get them fitted can you get some photo's and measure the tread depth please? I am looking at the same size for Deutz 6.61..
