Come to ring a lamb, scotum is full of fluid and tender. Can’t even feel the balls. Not come across this before. Any thoughts or experience please? Thanks!

We appear to have had one the same, Dad never seen the like of it before! Didn’t ring it and it’s probably 7 weeks old now. Only concern is the scrotum appears to have grown bigger still, not sure how it’s going to end up…..

They end up dead… I know from experience ☹️ The hernia gets bigger as more gut drops through until they rupture. Kindest thing to do is PTS and set another lamb on the ewe.

Oh f*ck it. I wonder if I can massage it back in and put a ring on the empty sack?
I'd be worried that once the sack drops off, the intestines will drop through the hole unless the skin is sealed well enough. Its the downward pressure of the lambs guts with no muscle to support it that's the problem. A vet might do an operation to stuff it all back and stitch the abdomen????
