Want to get it in while there’s still a bit of moisture about ( sorry if some find that upsetting ) 🫣
Have you seen the forecast?
You ain’t going to be short of moisture!

So many people think we are heading for a drought.
I very much doubt it. No 2 years are ever the same.

I planted mine in May last year and it didn’t rain until 7th July. By the mid August, it was the best I have ever seen it.
Everything else, cash crop wise was well and truly fooked, mind!

we nearly ballast rolled some DDed oats and pea+barley on the sand to keep the moisture in. had a nice shower today so hopefully the fact we didn't hasn't hurt. drilled with a simtech so higher disturbance than a GD

Just spent a wonderful morning at Weaving’s factory.
What an incredible success it all is and how it continues to develop.
3D lazer cut tubular steel now replacing box steel.
Stronger with much better weldings, being shot blasted reading for painting here:

No worries,
Not just the GD but other stuff you do like fitting your Artemis system to @Warnesworth ’s Horsch drill that used to belong to @Charlie Flindt .

@Warnesworth hired it to us to drill some Spring Barley into 15ha that didn’t get drilled with Winter Beans
You sent a brilliant young chap called Tom Savill out to set it off for us this morning and it has worked faultlessly all day. Such a relief from the old Horsch electronics that were causing all sorts of problems.

@Weaving saw an energiser going out on the back of one of the wagons, looks a good tool for the conditions this spring
It is indeed a great bit of kit. Not biased at all ;)
Worth noting that it is eligible for FETF208 - Tractor mounted stubble rake 6m - if purchasing the 6 metre mounted model.
Applications are now closed for this round, but a second application window is mentioned on the RPA website.

All your chaps are brilliant. I particularly like the fact that many of the names and numbers and printed on the hopper of my GD drill. It is so handy when you have a quick question we need answering.
