Back on the drill
Unfortunately with modern technology the manufacturers have been able to make extra thin replacements which will struggle to do ten years.Found out that the water tank I cleaned yesterday wasn't quite so waterproof anymore, only 70 years old too.

That's how I do it off the lower trailer but if your on your own it's a bit difficult with a higher one.Dont need ramps
Combi padlocks are ace.
Helps more if you do both gatesBarbed wire wrapped around the top rail of the gate helps too.
Did 2 extra lines of barbed last night on post and rail to persuade bully that the hefers weren't greener on the other side of 3 fences. 2 bulls with 20 cows each standing 20m from each other and roaring through the holiday cottage between them.
I used to dread that day as well. Adding straw to the footbath so it doesn't just look like water has helped massively this time around and mine went through with very little issue.Dreaded day…lambs to go through footbath for first time.
Normally involves lots of shouting and swearing but went surprisingly smoothly.
Reversed the pens after so ready to go thru again when the mob moves again Saturday

That's this year at least. Another year and it'll likely be totally different again.
I use straw. But I suspect it is the reflections off the water that are spooky.Ive swapped to a foam pad in the base of the bath last few years and its help
