Well a very helpful lady did phone on Friday from the RPA !!
Had a good chat and I told her the issues and confusion over multiple e mails . She said to leave it to her and she would look into it . Fair enough , three hours later she phoned back to say she had sent an e mail listing the missing photos . No idea why as I have sent them three times but there were 18 photos they required and she suggested I print them out and send them as hard copies which I did yesterday and sent them this morning ( tracked/ signed for)so see how it goes?
I find best way with photos is to drop them onto a Word doc, Labelled as required.
Then save it as a pdf to send on email
Creating pdf makes a smaller file than word

Finally after 18 and a bit weeks , got paid last Friday for my capital claim from mid November 23 !!!!
Still waiting for 2023 Revenue however on Monday got asked to reconfirm land use codes and areas following THEIR remapping exercise [no idea when] which I have just filled in and sent back again . Probably means that it will now be a few more weeks rather than days ??!!
Need to send in another Capital works claim now , and so it continues !
Hope some of the others on here have got paid now ?
Nope still waiting 😡

So my revenue payment finally landed yesterday.

Just over half what I was expecting!!

I have chased it up several times this year always to be told there is no problem with the claim.

Got on the phone to them, alot of umming and arring and they are going to phone me back tomorrow 😔

Anyone else had this?

My revenue is still not paid , sent me more "stupid" queries last week !!! Why don t they ask or send all queries together as it was beginning of March for the first one and it's now third week of April?

Exactly the same here, and still no payment which is so frustrating as they have admitted it’s their error for the hold up.

Not totally surprised but e mail today to say they have accepted and approved all the answers I gave from the end of March queries and the end of April ones, great , BUT they have now got a query about one extra field of 1.58 ha and now want me to answer this query by 16 th May . So this one " extra " will now delay the whole revenue payment for another few weeks !!! As I said last week , why can t they bring up all these queries in one lot rather than over 9 weeks , each one delaying the payment . Giving my cashflow a good kicking but hey ho . It just means I can t buy the cattle that they want me to graze the ground with !

Keep ringing, be polite but relentless, you'll eventually get a helpful person. Make sure they understand the stress you are under due to their tardiness. The only reason there could be a serious issue is if your application was an utter mess, with lots of errors and confusing information. If someone has picked it up, they could work through everything in a day, surely? Has there been any previous ie you've had a fall out or cross words in the past? That shouldn't matter but I bet those cases are put to the bottom of the pile over and over.
We've had a number of frustrating issues, where system glitches at the RPA end have reset things, weeks after acceptance or notifications of progress. It's caused huge problems, and the awkward feeling of having to ring back again doesn't help.
A really helpful chap told me in January that all emails are logged, recordded and added to your file, and advised me to summarise every phone call in an email immediately afterwards, quoting who you spoke to, and send it in, so the next time they'll see what's happened. Also, apparently you can file an official complaint if the promised call back doesn't happen...again...back up with an email.
We had a capital claim that was submitted successfully, but 4 weeks later, after hearing nothing, we checked online, it had disappeared. This was the 3rd similar 'system issue' we'd had. I rang, got a call back, but from a fella who. although very helpful, struggled a bit with English, plainly had no farming knowledge, and kept repeating 'we have 60 days'. He wouldn't even acknowledge that we were way past 60 days from my original submission. I gave it a week, rang back, got a very helpful person who apologised profusely, thanked me for being understanding, said their IT issues were unacceptable, and she'd sort it out. Done in 2 hours.

Lord help us in a few months when SFI and Stewardship merge
