Spring Barley

Planet spring barley claydon straight into wheat stubble last week of March , the thin rows are wheelings from rolling tractor.

Too late for spring wheat, spring barley, well, sow it thick and hope for the best? I'd be putting the nitrogen on in the seedbed or behind the drill as soon as possible if it was me, too.
Some of my spring barley had its nitrogen 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately it's still waiting on having its seed, but you can't have everything I suppose...

There’s people near me who haven’t been able to get spray or fert onto there winter barley and it looks terrible

be another 2 weeks before I make a start on spring barley and the fert be going on as soon as it’s sown

I've not sprayed any winter crops yet. They aren't suffering though. Plan is to start tomorrow.

Managed to do 2 patches of winter wheat yesterday but didn't dare look into the winter barley fields.......
