I've made the difficult decision to find a new home for Cap, my 7 year old Border Collie sheepdog. Purchased from Dick Roper as a puppy in 2014 he's been working sheep all his life and can be seen working. He's a very friendly, affectionate dog and I've no problem letting him near any children. He's getting old but is still in good condition and physically fit.
His one big problem is that he's a wandering dog and we can be part the way through moving sheep and he decides he's had enough and runs off up the village! With over 1,000 sheep I can't afford this problem! He would be ideally suited to a smallholder or smaller sheep flock. He likes going for walks and loves fuss and attention so would also make a good pet but be warned he's not house trained!
I'm not wanting any money for him but keen for him to find a new home where he will be loved.
