Seed Oats

Hi, I left it late to buy my spring oat seed,I'm looking for 2.5t of either Isabel or husky,but rang around everywhere that I can think of in Ireland and they say they are out of stock. I never thought buying seed would be a problem. Any ideas? Would anyone in the UK send some over?

Would oats that have not been kept perfectly over winter be ok to use as seed off the plie?
Not sprouted, but musty and dusty.
Asking for a friend

All seed was tight this year
I couldn't get oats and I was looking in December

Be a sure sign of what it's at in a week wouldn't it ?
Could have gone with doing it a month ago tho so you have more options if it's crap ...

Any grain that ive had that smells musty will not germinate. But any spilt propcorned grain that has got wet outside seems to sprout perfectly.

about 600 kg /ha for what land is dry enough to drill

What is the thousand grain weight and what is your opinion on the quality of the seedbed? Germination % or is it bought in certified seed? You need to be at 450 seeds/2 or more.

44 tgw bought in seed and not too bad a seedbed

Based on a plant population of 300/m2 (arguably too low this late), germination 90% establishment 80% that TGW gives a seed rate of around 180 kg/ha
