Nottinghamshire detectorist couple

Hello all,

I have recently joined this site in the hope of getting permission for my wife and I to metal detect on a farmer’s land.

We actually got into this because we watched the show on BBC and thought it was a brilliant hobby. We have since had a couple of permissions given locally to us however these are on old scout grounds (tent pegs…..tent pegs everywhere).

We aren’t doing this for any monetary gain, we simply enjoy it and want to find a piece of history that we can hopefully share with local museums and of course the farmer who’s land it is.

We are very respectful and of course ALWAYS fill our holes back up.

If anybody is willing to give us a chance, please reach out :)

Thanks

Rich & Moll
