How much are potatoes now?

By contrast, while in UK last week I went for a Sunday lunch time pint with my brother in law and nephew. Country pub - over 17 quid for 3 pints. I nearly died on the spot!

Quite a shock isn't it. Often hid I think by using a card to pay. And one reason I still take cash - can just see the £10 notes leaving my wallet! But all the music venues I go to now only take cards. A pint is £6.50 in Nottingham. Make so much sense to the venue - no cashing up. No need for float and change. No large amount of cash to deposit late at night or leave on the premises overnight. Less chance for staff to pilfer. Hey ho. But apologies - drifting from the topic of Potatoes.
