Not sure how it can be solved now that we so far down the road to disaster.
UK is over populated and can not afford to maintain itself. Not enough doctors, hospitals, dentists, houses etc
Roads falling apart, services cut, etc

Blair started the journey by allowing full access to uk while rest of eu did a steady access. So we took a bad hit in various sectors while EU transitioned.
He also made people think that Uni is the only way to do. Goto uni and then straight to management (which is why so many are useless at their management job as never done the jobs down the ladder they management over.

Because of housing shortage, house prices and rents are high which is a killer for young people. Simply raising the minimum wage won't solve that as prices/rents will simply increase with it and also attract more Migrants and so the circle repeats.

Govs new idea of only 1 year on the dole is a step in the right direction. People need to work. It's better for their mental health and they can then work up the ladder away from the menial jobs if they wish.

As for the higher paid skilled jobs, why do the have to be filled by Migrants? Free /cheap uni places for courses that support the needed jobs.

UK is going down the pan, but nothingyto do with Brexit, started ages ago while we were members. Just not got any politicians who are prepared to try and fix it.
Just watched Midlands today. 68% fall in EU Vets coming coupled with UK Vets taking jobs with border force for import checks means animals going untreated. David Gregory report.

7 years to train as a Dr or a Vet. Again you will accept these highly skilled people but that won't help the kids will it? And the UK has a limited number of training places as the policy is to import these skills.
Yes Blair allowed immediate access where France and others said 7 years before citizens of accession countries can move in. But the EU was blamed and it was Blair.
Minimum wage rise will not attract more migrants as it won't be close to the £38800 pa.
No University fees in France.

Not weak just how poor a leader May was. Plus the role played by Varadkar and the cynicism of the EU and the reaminer rearguard who sought to exploit Northern Ireland in their so called "protecting" the Belfast Agreement.
Keep clinging on to the delusion.
Brexiters have the idea that things could be different if there was sufficient "will" to make it so.
The reality was the UK was told to sign up by two larger powers.
It was too weak to refuse.

Totally agree.
I always said Blair wrecked the UK.
But successive govs have done nothing to try and correct the mistakes.
Uk should not need to import vets and doctors. We should have a conveyor of new ones each year if things were put in place years ago.

Hopefully migrants will realise how bad the uk is and stat in france!

How? The country seemed to be in reasonable shape at the end of the Blair/Brown era.

UK seemed in pretty good shape up to the financial crash. Blair invested a lot in the health service.

Blair funded 100 new NHS hospitals with PFI's (basically private money, so privatizing the NHS) In total, approximately £12.7 billion is borrowed, with repayments reaching over £80 billion. Even when fully repaid, the public won’t own the hospitals! great investment...

It’s quite incredible how dyed in the wool Conservatives criticise Blair for adopting Tory policies.

80 functioning hospitals. What happened to Boris's 40 new hospital?
Not a single one built.
