Can a housed cow system be "regenerative"?

RABDF Down to Earth, the regenerative livestock farming event, will be hosted at a housed cow unit for the second year in a row; cows milked 3x per day, I understand it to be "high input, high output". Not knocking confinement systems, but can this system really be regenerative? I believe that...

    Turbine regeneration.

I have 3x 15kw turbines, producing around 90000kw intotal per year. Feed in tarriff runs for another 8 years and i think there is maybe a way i can replace them or add another to max out my feed in tarriff payment. Is this a thing? So 45 (kw site) x 24 (hours in the day) x 366 (days in year) =...

Michael Gove and the Conservatives did this.

Destroyed OSR as a reliable break crop in the U.K. while welcoming in imports grown using chemicals they banned here on the flimsiest of evidence for populist reasons. If that isn’t duplicitous then I don’t know what is. At the next election when I go into the polling station I’ll remember this.

    EWT wind turbines

Hello, I believe there's a few members on here, who have EWT 500kw turbines? I was wondering how everyone is finding EWT/Full circle now? My past experience has been fantastic over the years, but as of late it seems to have really dropped off. As of this year I'm standing at 81 % availability...

    Windyboy inverter

I have an Xzeres wind turbine which blows an inverter occasionally. Unfortunately I'm having to wait up to nine weeks for a replacement so I could do with a spare to have on hand. Anybody on here have a Windyboy they would sell? It's an SMA 6000A.

    New farm track. Planning permission?

I want to make a no more than 50 metre gravel track into a clay field for car access only. I can dig a hole and get the gravel from an adjacent field. I thought as gravel will be sourced on farm then no p permission needed. We have always jfdi in the past.

Turnover vanity profit sanity….what a load of tosh

Heard this said plenty of times, but really if you have a small farm turning over a relatively small amount say £1-200k you are only ever going to be able to make so much money no matter how efficient you are or how well you sell your produce. The only way to increase profits is to increase...
