We drift ours off the lambing park, every day ( or two, depending on conditions) into the next field, which, when they go through the gate, is into a pen....Gotcha 👍

I'm getting too old for this kind of malarky..

Ours are ( we’re on) 26 acres of stoney steep rough grazing… you know the score … this year I’ll catch them early , mark up and send back out …. Not !
I opened up an adjacent bit of ground with more grass and a few good walls to get behind , so now they have nearly 45 acres to run around avoiding me 😖
I was tempted to run the lot down and bring them all inside, but lots have lambed now

Well I don’t know if we will have any live lambs tomorrow
Can’t believe this weather. Just had thunder and lightning, it’s blowing a hoolie and sleeting
I don’t even want to look out on the fields , nature is bloody cruel

I’m glad I’m done, at one point today there was a massive hail storm, almost horizontal hail stones. I was doing some fencing on a ridge line and had to take shelter behind/under the quad bike. 😂

according to local hade edge weather station we had 115 mm yesterday, i don't know how accurate it is. it put some down i know that much
I think that would be underestimated! We had rivers running down fields
Today is cold and bright with a hopefully drying wind Meanwhile on the fek up front … hilux’s don’t like wet steep fields , so it’s stuck there for now

We had a similar situation on Friday with a navara. But it was a flat field! I did remind him it was wet by the oak tree as we involuntarily parked up. He said we'd fetch it back today because it was a lovely drying weekend He hoped it'd drive out...not today it won't I bet!
