Woodland leasing

I'm thinking for approaching a local farmer about leasing a 10 hectare unmanaged woodland from him.
It's a well established wood with alot of holly and hazel that looks like it was once copiced. I want to rent the wood or the rights to start copiceing the hazel again but I have been unable to to find any idea of how much it might cost me online. Can anybody give me a rough idea? The wood is located in North Wiltshire if that make a difference.

The biggest difference will be if the landowner wants to rent it to you, good luck though because I can remember knocking on a local farmers door when I was in my teens, with no luck I may add,but we do own it now

I set to with a 70 acre piece of woodland that had run away hazel coppice. I'd had an enquiry from a man who made thatching spars.
The first year was free and the second year would have cost £365 with he paying the legal fees. There was a tentative mention of a five year lease to coincide with the WGS at that time.
The idea was run by the pheasant rearers who put a spanner in the works with the words 'disturb' firmly shouted back. So as you can imagine the idea collapsed and as far as I know nothing has happened since. C2010
