I hadn't heard of these "kinetic switches" either. Had a quick google - they seem to be marked by a single main company "ENERJ SMART LTD" trading as "EnerJ". They look like common remote-control switches i.e. wireless control via RF/wifi. Are they something different?

No wifi needed, as above the action of pushing the switch creaes a micro pulse of energy that actuates the light or whatever you want to switch.

There's a few different makes around, EnerJ and Quinetic being two of the most commonly found. They are basically RF remote controls with the switches being self powered - no battery required - the action of pressing the switch generates the power for the transmission. They're useful where running wires to a switch might be tricky or inconvenient, or you need several switches in different locations, but in my opinion aren't a substitute for doing the job properly.

Not took mine out of box properly yet. Ufo.
When he saw the building he felt my one will suffice.
Basic advice on switch was run the wire . He doesn't like selling gear that gives trouble.
