Since favourite sheep equipment's been mentioned, I could do with some advice, please.

Had a shock at the price of new drenchers now freebies are discontinued, so hunted out some vintage ones with the idea of resurrecting any that can be, and finding a few spares from any that can't.

I've a white, 12.5ml Phillips-made drencher with Oramec written on it. Managed to open it, and wash it through. The front valve and spring are fine, but I can't work out how to access the valve (which isn't drawing fully) in the plunger end. The manual that came with it shows there's a stopper to come out at the front of the plunger, but what type of implement would be right to free it?

While were at it, we have an Endospec red metal one with a little screw-on bulb at the end of the spout. Guess what's disappeared 🤬. No doubt in a lump of lamb poo somewhere. Looking for a replacement if anyone's got a busted one. I'll happily pay postage etc for another bulb. It's great for small doses for lambs. Our others are 5ml minimum.
Also it's so narrow, it's the only thing that will reliably fire Closamectin through. A lesson in Newtonian fluid dynamics. I think the bods that developed Closamectin could have paid a bit more attention to that lesson.

I'm usually there by 530 if I'm going because I've had to queue before if I got there after 6 and as I drop and go to work I can't be hanging about. I saw the prices and I'm tempted to drop some in next week but then i could also be tempted to get my mate to run them into Welshpool instead and not have any of the mither of going 😂 or I could kill them and take home £175/lamb after costs for a bit of running around and mither getting people to collect them.
Deffo get a mate to do it.... by far the easiest option ;)

We use a thumping great eprinex pour on applicator for fluking cattle for that very reason. Thick fassinex is ejected from the spout at just the right rate, and just the right angle for the bullock to swallow it properly.

I'll try to take a photo, but I'll need to open the gubbins up again first. The things you never realised y'need a plumber's wrench for! 😁
