On 9th February 2023, barometric pressure had been 140mb. I then had two weeks of serious imbalance, virtigo, upper-body pain and my eyesight had been dreadful. Anybody else affected?

That happens to be the day I had to go to bed in the afternoon with the flu after feeling a bit rough for a few days. Just hit a wall and couldn't do anymore. When normally can just plod on. Then had tinnitus/deafness in one ear and vertigo come on after and since. I've been having tinnitus/deafness in one ear come and go for a few years and just put up with it. However after a bad bout of vertigo last year I'm now somewhere on the hospital's 9 month waiting list!

Think my right ear has got an infection in it, prob viral, and whenever I get run down it flares up. Whether it has any connection to do with the barometric pressure I've no idea!

JCB_JCR has a right-ear set of symptoms that I would suggest he gets back to his GP soon to request an MRI scan of his inner-ear. At worst, his symptoms could be a bit more than just an infection. An MRI scan can detect the presence of a growth in the inner-ear, sometimes known as an acoustic neuroma. I myself had one removed in 1995. I think it had been growing since 1988.
Acoustic Neuroma's aside, the ears, nose and throats are all inter-connected and air pressures come into the equation. The eustachian tubes can become blocked also. When one descends from high altitude too quickly, then one will experience ear pain but at worst, the formation of an Acoustic Neuroma. Google; Acoustic Neuroma.

The consumption of alcoholic drinks tonight may cause imbalance tomorrow.

Lol yes that type of inbalance I can cope with! Funnily enough an over consumption of alcohol would historically produce almost the exact symptoms that I'm experiencing during a bout of vertigo.

Finally getting a scan end of month to see what's going on. Sort of hope it's a growth or something that can be removed to fix it? Don't like the sound of meniere's disease, which the consultant also suggested and gave me some drugs for. None of the other anti sickness drugs have worked so far...

Constant headache isn't fun either.

Your symptoms are consistent with a right-sided benign acoustic neuroma being present. An MRI scan will detect it if there is one. More info on;
