    We run one just over 6m. We don’t cut a farm where I don’t need all the reach, I would like more. You’ll find the extra reach handy when staggering your wheel marks as well. I run one on 150 horse 6cyl and wouldn’t want it on a smaller tractor.

    I know you say it’s only for your farm but you also say the bills are getting high so I imagine your gonna clock up a good few hours, so you’ll want a decent machine. Electric controls and Vfr are a must for us, makes the day much more comfortable. Lots of low hanging trees/narrow lanes...

    Ask a seller straw is cheap!! Ask a buyer straw is dear, ask a merchant there’s no margin and there all doing it for the love of it. If any one controls the market it’s the boys running the wagons. Some one said it’s quiet on the straw sales, I was on the a66 yesterday and passed 5 lorry’s...

    We do it, phone will ring at any time of the night, sends the misses bonkers. If it snows we go, doesn’t matter if it’s Christmas Day! Can be a big tie if weather is uncertain, at times I hate it but it keeps us busy in poor weather.
