Which is better? Organic or Regenerative produced food?

If we all went organic food would be a bit scarce, supply might still exist sufficiently if livestock grain consumption ended promptly and all grain went for human consumption, it would be the end of the cheap egg/chicken/pork era for sure, but has the potential to sustain the population. Sod...

Which is better? Organic or Regenerative produced food?

Not a clue, not sure if there's even a rulebook. Looking on wildfarmed website it looks like it's done with good intentions. Just somewhat baffling with the premiums, might just as well remarket organic So easy to blame Can you block someone on tff? No offense but I'd like to block you for...

What would be the quickest way to provide privacy on two edges facing a road on each?

It's called suburbia, been around for decades... urban sprawl continues to swallow it up.. almost like the Google Street view maps camera is used for development potential

Which is better? Organic or Regenerative produced food?

How is regen fetching more premium than organic when it is allowed nitrates and glyphosate? Who's got the organic Market by the balls driving prices down?

Red Tractor at it again with the WWF

Yay, shall we call it dead tractor, invite all nfu subsidiaries to be stakeholders, maybe ahdb and brc and if it is junk... NFU say its not yours and back pedal?🤢.... its a broken record, just like me keeping on being dismissed ("cos wes avin a mass walk out") over the idea of having a FARMER...

May Event: The most profitable farm diversification strategy 2024 - Mobile Data Centres

How come the odds haven't had a single farmer of 70 or so using this technology come forward and wax lyrical, I thought TFF had a membership number of nearly half of all UK farmers?... that says 35 on here are likely using it but won't comment?

    jd 3200 problems

Got power to the stop solenoid on the pump? Sounds like you've had a short/break on ign live/exciter, been a long time since I had a 3200. From memory rats used to like getting up in under the side panel on cab by the boom. I had a few issues under there.

May Event: The most profitable farm diversification strategy 2024 - Mobile Data Centres

Thanks Clive, I think I've learned enough that the jaw dropping opening statement isn't realistic. Rather ambitious claims going on there.... if they were true it begs to question why Josh Riddett with his love of money isn't investing in it solely and wants to share the wealth maker, its...

Which is better? Organic or Regenerative produced food?

No time to chuck roundup about?! You'd have to at least run an empty direct drill across after to stop the neighbours laughing surely?

Which is better? Organic or Regenerative produced food?

As Huno says. Are there even any guidelines that have been trialled and proven for 10-20 years on individual soil types? Smacks of misleading labelling coming up... bit like woodland eggs, what tosh, nobody would get permission to fell woodland to put a chicken unit in.... so you build it in a...

    Sprayer tank cleaning between crops

I've been organic 8 years which must be a life sentence for pesticide sins of the past, but I used 4 cans of all clear in 15 years I'd say, none of it here. Used to find it a challenge to do a season without more than a water rinse by organising spray reccomendations properly. Very rarely...

Which is better? Organic or Regenerative produced food?

Wondering if Soil Association would give me a derogation for nitram and glyphosate... gross £1800/acre sounds sustainable and regenerative, feeds more people and sees me a good return... perhaps farming will become regenerative when food has more worth than fashion.

Not convinced it's the best for our interests either, bit too political

Which is better? Organic or Regenerative produced food?

Sorry, I totally and utterly disagree here, rewilding does not capture endless carbon, afforestation, maybe valid, but that would dry up our ground water supply pretty quickly and be an own goal. Organic matter is the biggest key to any farming system as far as carbon is concerned, badge it as...

Sky news today, can farming survive

I say f**k worrying if farming can keep a population alive, we've bothered about long enough for no recompense, will farmers survive? Yes, the survival instinct of a farmer would put a navy seal to shame generally... doesn't mean we will ever be rich or banded with a badge of bravery for fending...
