A dead deer near the town centre yesterday. People said it was a roe deer, perhaps a red deer calf lots of red deer about locally. My farm cleared out by poachers over winter, thankfully.

I was quite down last weekend, but now expecting a reasonable harvest, just hope it is good weather in September, we need it. This weeks rain although stopping the veg transplanting has been really good for local cereals.
