Nottinghamshire County Show

At the heart of farming and rural life in our County​

Experience a fabulous family day out this Spring at Nottinghamshire County Show.

With plenty going on inside and out, on show will be the best cattle, sheep, goats and pigs alongside superb equine events, including majestic ‘heavies’ and first-class showjumping.

Meet your favourite farmyard animals, gun dogs and birds of prey. Children will particularly enjoy the antics of the animals in the Countryside Area as well as the return of the popular Giant Tortoises.

Featuring as the main attraction is the famous Atkinson Action Horses who have recently appeared in the TV series, Poldark, Victoria and Peaky Blinders, there are many other spectacular displays to entertain and inform visitors.

There will be plenty of music, lots of fun, a tasty Food Experience area, and plenty of opportunity to do some shopping for crafts, gifts and clothing, many items on sale will not be available in the high street stores.

Countryside Area​

A great family-friendly spot with lots to do! Experience fun countryside activities, workshops, demos, displays, and a family dog show.
Get close to animals in the 'Farmyard & Friends' yard, with the likes of White Post Farm and the Wee Donkey Company!

Main Ring​

Visitors can enjoy a variety of acts and displays, alongside Equine competitions. From returning favourites including the Young Farmers Lawnmower races, Grand Livestock & Heavy Horse Parade and vintage tractor display.
Plus, the Imps Motorcycle Display team will be putting on a fiery display!

Festival of Food​

Food, shopping and music what’s not to love? Get your tastes buds tingling with tastes of the countryside!
Enjoy carefully selected independent food and drink producers Nottinghamshire and the Midlands has to offer, all while enjoying live music next to our bandstand!
