They are not too bad with sorting out an issue I found a couple of years ago. Wakes up the supplier if they find their charge handling getting sticky I guess...
I remember many moons ago, getting a derogation from NE on some CS mixture of some type, as toppin was going to be so damaging, but the weeds HADS to be controlled. Roundup it was, and left the cover until Autumn. A healthy dose of commonsense. ;)
When seed arrives on a pallet, it will have been through the hands of multiple warehouses and trucks... All will deny any wrongdoing or responsibility, as will the lead Carrier company.

I always understood, that as long as you shouted or made some attempt to stop the dog, you could then shoot. I suspect the reaction, will depend on the local Force.
I suspect the Met might have a different viewpoint to the Police in rural Powys.
Too often, the response is...🖕 from them. "Take it up with Carrier" is a comment heard too often. I can see why the OP suggested a call to TS... it's nice to give the supplier a legal chapter and verse of their failings

I have an "emergency" lambing box, and most get lobbed in there. Milk related and colostrum products are in a filing cabinet in a building outside.
I am afraid that this attitude is increasingly prevalent in suppliers, who just don't give a dam'n when THEIR Carrier screws up. The problems can often be blamed on minimum wage drivers, who cannot speak/read english.
I don't think that the suppliers realise (or care) when this happen and...
