They are not too bad with sorting out an issue I found a couple of years ago. Wakes up the supplier if they find their charge handling getting sticky I guess...
I remember many moons ago, getting a derogation from NE on some CS mixture of some type, as toppin was going to be so damaging, but the weeds HADS to be controlled. Roundup it was, and left the cover until Autumn. A healthy dose of commonsense. ;)
When seed arrives on a pallet, it will have been through the hands of multiple warehouses and trucks... All will deny any wrongdoing or responsibility, as will the lead Carrier company.

Too often, the response is...🖕 from them. "Take it up with Carrier" is a comment heard too often. I can see why the OP suggested a call to TS... it's nice to give the supplier a legal chapter and verse of their failings
