I think you could claim adverse possession if nobody knows who the owner is and if you have done with it as you wish for 40 years with no contact from the owner.
I thought it was fairly average and the final trial at the end was unfair. attaching a rope to young dogs so you can catch them works well though and they do behave better if you are holding a plastic rake.

One of the few good things about Victoria is you don't need to have a roadworthy (mot) on vehicles unless they need reregistering ie new owner or the cops see something they don't like. Surprisingly it dose'nt leed to loads of broken down cars or serious crashes.
