Why would people pigeon hole themselves as gay or black, why can't people just say they are simply themselves, this whole need to label and brand oneself I find to be very odd.Politics section then, eek
To summarize:
Unless we are gay or black we should turn a blind eye to racism or homophobia, because to take offence on behalf of others is, well, woke, and anyway, sticks and stones etc.
However, we reserve the right to blub like babies if horrid things are said about a 6 foot 15 stone white bloke who is quite clearly capable of looking after himself, because, well, he is one of us.
Am I close ?
What I find even more odd is the idea of
taking offence on behalf of someone else?

So given your "logic", the German's in the 1930's who opposed Hitler and the Nazi's that "said nothing" are all equally quilty/complicit just by default of being "German"?
Equally current Germans then must also be constantly "guilt tripped" for something they were not responsible for or involved in,nor have the magical ability to change the past...
Just because people don't say anything doesn't automatically imply that they are avoiding the issue and nor does it mean that its an excuse.

Answer this then, you can openly "parade" with any other countries flag in london in front of the police, (palestinian) been shown so many times in london, filmed over london etc? Albainian flags everywhere on their national day in london? you get the other, side? Ex serviceman or woman with a union jack or english flag, causing no trouble and told to remove the flag/flags or else? What not been able to fly the flag of ones nation in that nation, when others have the "right" to fly a flag of another nation, utterly disgraceful

Yes I understand the word. It means to criticise unfairly. Bit like calling someone a bigot after reading a statement of facts.
Try pleasing some of the people some of the time, i cant please all of the people all of the time? What ever you say or do you will always have someone or other that disagrees, thats the price as i understand of a demorcracy, yes far from perfect, but what would you rather have a "putin/china" type country, where dissent, arguement from the "view" is violently stamped out?
